Internship at Goodvalley Ukraine is a real start to a career in the agricultural sector

We create opportunities for young people to gain practical experience in a large international company: from paid internships to their first job. Students work in various business areas, learn about modern agricultural production and the latest technologies, and receive support from a mentor at every stage. We give them time to adapt, provide training and help them move confidently from theory to practice.

Feedback on the practice

The internship left me with a very positive impression. On the very first day, my mentor explained in detail all the main processes - from the birth of animals to the care and organisation of work. The very next day, I was involved in real animal care tasks. The team of Kopanky Pig Farm welcomed me very openly and kindly, so the adaptation was easy and comfortable

The internship at Goodvalley Ukraine was interesting, a bit challenging and completely new for me. I was impressed by the scale of the farm and the modern working conditions. Since I had just started my specialised subjects at college, the internship helped me to see the life of farm animals in a real-life example. I remember the piglets the most, including one with a visual impairment that skilfully navigated through hearing and smell. During the internship, I felt the support of my mentor and easily adapted to the team.
- Polina
"I found out about the opportunity to do an internship at Goodwill Ukraine while studying at the lyceum and decided to take this chance. The practice turned out to be interesting and informative, and the work was enjoyable. I especially remember the warm and supportive attitude of the team - they always help and advise. After the first internship in my second year, I realised that I wanted to stay with the company, so I did the internship again. Today I am a full-fledged employee and I can confidently say that internship at Goodwill Ukraine is a real start to my career.«

Tips for job seekers

One of the most important stages of a job search is creating a successful CV. It is a key element that helps to attract the attention of an employer and get an invitation for an interview.
Here are some tips to create an effective CV:

  • Starting with the headline, you need to tailor your CV to a specific vacancy. You should first study the employer's requirements and describe your strengths, skills and work experience that are relevant to the position.
  • The next step is to structure the information. Your CV should be concise and clear, with an accurate presentation of your work experience, education and skills. You should make an effort to stand out with your uniqueness and showcase your achievements.
  • It is equally important to describe professional goals and personal qualities that can positively influence the employer's impression.
  • It is important to focus on teamwork, creativity, leadership or analytical skills that can benefit the employer.

A CV should be free of mistakes and be written correctly, as it demonstrates the candidate's professionalism and attentiveness. A well-written CV is the first step to a successful career and can open many doors.

A CV shows your experience and education, and a cover letter reveals your personality. Every syllable in your cover letter creates a visual image of who you are. It will help you stand out from other candidates.
When to write a cover letter:
📍 When you are applying for a position in a competitive field or in a company that rarely hires new employees;
📍 When you want to increase your chances, an invitation to an interview;
📍 When you are changing careers and want to briefly explain why you feel qualified to work in a new field.

Before drafting, visit the company's website and social media to get a better understanding of its culture and values. This will help you choose the right tone for your email (strictly formal or open and friendly)
Like other letters, the cover letter should contain:
- greetings (e.g. «Hello» or «Good morning»);
- text (main part);
- signature (with your contacts).

The main body of your cover letter should contain a brief description of who you are, why you want to work in this position and why this company. Emphasise the personal traits, professional skills, and relevant education that will help you successfully perform the tasks of the position. State what you can bring to the company.
If you found out about the vacancy from a friend who works for the company, please mention it. Employers know that good people bring good people.
Thank you for your time and consideration of your letter.
Include your phone number and email address at the end of your cover letter so that recruiters can easily contact you if they like what they read.
Check for grammatical errors before submitting.
We wish you success in your job search!
